Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance of a production line
  • Work closely with Scheduling, Manufacturing Engineering and Mechanical Tech Leads to develop the production plan and critical milestones
  • Monitor adherence to the plan and schedule
  • Lead and coordinate work and activities of all support groups to execute production plan and schedule
  • Identify risks to operations schedule, and work on mitigation plans and problem resolution
  • Main point of contact to provide status of production activities, commitments and recovery plans as needed
  • Champion and lead Continuous Improvement activities to resolve problems and improve efficiency

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 9 years or Masters and years related experience in Operations management or equivalent
  • Experience in operations project/program management
  • Experience in collaborating with employees within a department and across functions.
  • Experience leading lean manufacturing/process improvement projects
  • Knowledge of ERP/ MRP
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficient in MS Office products - PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Word.
  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Master's degree
  • Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma Certification
  • Government contract experience


Salary Range: $105,600 USD - $158,400 USD


Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
