Job Summary:
The Marketing Manager, reporting to the Executive Director, NARS International, will support the NARS China and NARS Travel Retail business by providing day-to-day support to the markets for all brand activities. The Manager’s key responsibility will be to build a strong partnership with clear communication to help ensure that business priorities are met and that markets have what they need to drive the business with strong 360˚ marketing activations. This position will also help ensure that markets follow brand guidelines locally to build global brand image consistency, strong brand equity and outstanding business results.
This position will require strong communication skills, attention to detail, a high sensitivity to timeline management and must be able to foster effective relationships with internal and external partners.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
NARS China and Travel Retail Contact
Answer day-to-day detailed queries from NARS global teams and the teams in China and TR, ensuring all teams have launch information needed from calendar dates to assets and forecast guidelines
Manage agenda for weekly China/TR calls, distribute action points and notes following each call

Launches
Maintain launch calendar for NARS China and TR. Prepare launch briefs and work with the global teams to deliver 360 launch support and assets.
Work with Global Marketing / Product Development / Operations on any region-specific sets
Track timely delivery and internal alignment of China and TR launch 360 Go-To-Market plans
Facilitate TREX development by representing TR needs in front of global stakeholders and track timely delivery of key elements (artwork, product, VM, assets).

Global Communications/Digital
Support the Global Communications, TR and China teams with any PR and Digital initiatives
Send feedback to markets on media plans and requests

Creative
Manage artwork requests & approvals for market-specific projects, campaigns, events and tools. Represent the markets as necessary and ensure projects are completed on time.
Communicate to markets and internally on all asset updates and availability.
Ensure the Digital Asset Management system (DAM) is up to date with relevant needs and assets.

Visual Merchandising
Collaborate with the China and TR teams to brief visual merchandising requests and support for new door openings and events
Update gondola configurations each season for open sell environments and tester unit displays
Ensure in-store excellence through timely updates for all assets: video, duratrans / lightboxes, lip and complexion bars etc. Manage the briefing of these updates and ensure delivery to the markets.
Track Regional and markets assortments updates and ensure it is reflected in the seasonal VM planograms.

Help maximize Tmall and markets E-commerce business by providing support to the 360 activations planned to capitalize on assortment, exclusive offers, collateral, KOL activity and live streaming sessions
Support creation of any additional assets needed to be developed specifically for Tmall high-traffic moments
For TR, support e-retailer strategy by optimizing execution across all key markets (assets, CRM, offers, process, etc.)

Forecasting
Review China and TR product forecasts and liaise with Operations team to ensure timely product registration & forecasting for all launches in China and TR
Work closely with Regulatory and PD teams to ensure all products are registered in China accordingly to launch calendar
Work with China and TR teams to review ongoing base business forecasts
Help define assortment for different distribution channels
Oversee launch and POS forecast guidelines
Develops and publish launch forecast guidelines for all product launches, across all retail channels ensuring that markets have a full toolkit to support the forecasting process and appropriately dimension product launches
Keep track of existing door count and planned door openings in China and TR, facilitate the timely approvals from Senior Management.

Pricing
Partner with the China and TR team to define market pricing for all price increases and new product launches
Perform pricing analysis on key categories / across key markets

Analysis
Analyze NARS performance, market performance and competitor activity in China & share best practices and insights with the Regional & Global teams
Prepare China and TR launch updates for Senior Management presentations

Qualifications & Competencies:
BA/BS degree required 4+ years in experience in marketing or project management, preferably in beauty, fashion or luxury. Mandarin reader (and speaker). Familiarity with China pop-culture trends, social media and e-commerce landscape. Previous experience working with Asia / China is a plus. Superior oral, written communication and presentation skills required Demonstrated leadership abilities and comfort with leading cross-functional projects Experience working with different cultures - dynamic, flexible, collaborative, positive attitude, and great team spirit. Must be comfortable working across time zones while effectively managing expectations of deliverables. Time flexibility to participate in morning / evening calls with Asian markets outside of regular EST business hours. Attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, ability to multi-task and manage details and projects while responding to changing priorities and feedback. Solution-oriented, self-motivated, results-oriented. Knowledge of competitive marketplace, digital, and in-store environment Software expertise – MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Salary :
$93,480 - $128,535/ year
