We are looking for an accomplished HR professional and business partner. This position represents the MB business units in Chilton, Wisconsin and New Holstein, Wisconsin and is a member of a broader North America team of HR leaders. Combine your in- depth knowledge and experience of HR topics, the employee cycle, benefits, compensation regulation and reporting with the direct relationship with business unit leaders and employees.
Human Resource is responsible for the coordination and performance of Human Resources functions for four locations and for the development of a business partner relationship with leaders. Major emphasis is placed on ensuring that appropriate talent is in place and is nurtured by the organization, that employment policies and processes are followed, and that communication is maintained. This position plays a key role, responsible for effective communication with the union membership. All objectives are to be accomplished while seeking process improvement and best practices, and by following and promoting the long range plans of the HR team and the entire North American organization.
About the role:
  • Assume responsibility for planning ,managing and carrying out all processes and documentation for all elements of the Employee Life Cycle that includes recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, and off boarding.
  • Prepare, and deliver to North American management data, evaluations of HR related topics and KPI’s accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain high quality communication with business unit leaders and be proactive with them regarding how to provide help and consultation to them.
  • Lead HR team projects as assigned by NA leadership, including those defined in NA Strategy planning
    • Conduct project work in a disciplined, structured and time sensitive manner
    • Document progress and report out on a regular/timely basis
    • Maintain timelines and deadlines
  • Provide required regular and ad hoc reporting
  • Complete monthly HR reporting according to schedules
  • Report additional reliable, accurate information as required
  • Be available for employees to have access to HR in order to be available for employees questions and concerns
Your Work Experience & Education:
  • Bachelor’s in business, HR, or applicable SHRM/SPHR Certification
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager
  • Deep knowledge of HR functions (talent management, recruitment etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR systems
  • Experience in Union and Non-Union manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate
  • High integrity with the ability to instantly gain trust from managers and employees
