This role can work out of ANY of our REV locations with preference around Decatur, IN, Brookfield, WI, Ocala, FL or Winter Park, FL. Relocation Assistance is offered. Outside of one those locations? Not an issue, working remotely is an option for this role.
The Manager – Strategic Sourcing (Hydraulics, Plastics and Paint) will be focused on the management of all activities associated with assigned commodities and services. Key commodities this position will lead supporting REV manufacturing facilities include plastics/chemicals, paint and hydraulics. This position will provide full commodity leadership, working closely with multiple business units, developing strategies, and coordinating all related supply chain activities to ensure that cost and value-added requirements are met. This position will ensure business unit program participation, adherence to, and acceptance of, agreed-upon strategic sourcing initiatives associated with various commodities/spend groups. Additionally, this position will proactively monitor and evaluate specific market conditions and develop strategic countermeasures as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Execute enterprise-wide and local sourcing events to implement cost savings.- Develop 3-year sourcing strategies using a standard supply chain strategy.
- Evaluate market conditions and negotiate material prices based on commodity prices going up and down.
- Implement commodity strategies across multiple business units.
- Drive digital transformation activities across the categories, implementing e-sourcing strategies.
- Utilization of automated sourcing tools such as Power BI, Ivalua, Coupa, Zycus, and Tableau to optimize the sourcing process.
- Negotiate, draft, and implement supplier agreements/contracts.
- Evaluate suppliers’ core competencies and performance ability.
- Find suppliers in high-growth regions that can augment domestic supply to improve supply chain strategy.
- Lead Supplier Selection process for assigned commodities.
- Formulate a strategy to mitigate price increase requests.
- Support business units with supplier issues that need to be escalated, such as quality and on-time delivery.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and drive performance improvements.
- Support development of should-cost models.
- Implement supply chain financing solutions utilizing outside banking partners to drive working capital value.
- Find VAVE (value engineering and value analysis) solutions to support a standard productivity approach.
- Manage a standard QBR (quarterly business review) approach that improves supplier connectivity, innovation, and collaboration.
- Drive Working Capital Improvements through negotiated extensions of payment terms and inventory consignment, e.g.
- Develop strategic suppliers to drive support of performance metrics.
- Defend against supplier price increases and reverse the culture of YOY inflation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- APICS, CPIM, or CSPC National Certification highly desired.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present in front of the leadership team.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience implementing projects across multiple locations and brands.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate well within a matrix organization.
- Solid awareness of operations and business processes.
- Passion for change and continuous improvement, must be self-motivated, have initiative, and have a positive attitude.
- Demonstrated high-performance levels and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Team management skills and the capability to lead change
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree: preferably in supply chain or electrical engineering
- 5+ years supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
- APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification highly desired
- Non-Metals category strategic sourcing experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Physical ability to climb stairs, bend, sit, stand, walk, reach with arms, push, pull and use hands and fingers to feel and handle material for extended timeframes.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly and regularly. Includes the ability to stoop, squat, crawl, and kneel as needed.

- Travel up to 30%, both domestically and internationally.
