You are the leader and the face of the Turning Point. Your guidance will form the workplace morale, staff's performance and inevitably the success of your individual location. Candidates must be self motivated, organized and have a passion for hospitality.

We give our GM's the training and support they need to be successful. We will always have their backs when it comes time to make the difficult decisions. We pride ourselves on maintaining a quality of life balance, no nights ever and 2 days off per week or extra vacation days added.


Personal Growth:

  • Corporate training in a "certified" training location. Candidates will receive approximately a 4 to 8 week training program. Will include all aspects of BOH operations, FOH operations and office responsibilities. Understand all TP policies, procedures, specifications and expectations.
  • Quarterly offsite GM peer meetings with upper management. The relationship we have with our GM's is collaborative and respectful. We are always looking for a better policy to implement or a new fresh idea that will enhance guest satisfaction or staff performance. Your development as an effective leader is paramount to our success.
  • Receive developmental action plans (DAP) from district managers. We always want to communicate and be clear with our management team. You will receive a written a DAP so you know your successes and your areas of opportunity. GM's also receive written performance reviews at minimum of once a year.
  • Paid vacation and store level profit sharing bonuses determined upon hiring and during performance reviews.
  • Opportunities to grow professionally into a corporate position.


Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 2 years restaurant managerial experience
  • Possess clear effective verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively lead a team.
  • Thoughtful managerial style that focuses on effective problem solving. Delegation with an "inspect what you expect" approach. Passion for 100% guest satisfaction.
  • Managers work in a standing position for long periods of times during the day with work weeks typically 45 to 55 hours in 5 days. Our GM's are expected to be "hands on", this requires some moderate lifting, bending, climbing and exposure to drastic temperatures.
  • Have a passion for being in the people business. Receiving joy and satisfaction when making others happy.
