Parle Endeavors is a New York City based 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower and support young adults through mentorship, scholarships, grants, exposure, and experience. We provide opportunities for supporting youth in the arts, media, journalism, entrepreneurship, and related fields.
Parlé Media Companyis seeking a dynamic addition to join our team. The Manager, Partnerships & Advertising will work to develop new and existing relationships, identify paid brand partnership opportunities, and work with the team to build and execute strategic campaigns.
The Manager is an experienced salesperson, familiar with New York City. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to help drive advertising sales & partnership development via client-direct business development efforts. This role requires a high-energy, sales-focused individual with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales goals. An understanding of event sponsorship sales is a plus.
Specific responsibilities include:
- The role, will drive towards an individual revenue goal
- Consistently develop a robust pipeline to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals
- Director will build and manage their own business pipeline, overseeing campaign executions along with the rest of the team
- Manage the sales process from prospecting through to campaign completion
- Work closely with client services on RFP's and program execution
- Have regular meetings with media agencies and clients
- Respond to RFP’s thoughtfully and in a timely manner
- Maintain sales goals and weekly activity by consistently developing/refining sales strategies and be a driving force on the team
- Communicate partnership details and campaign components
- Develop pitch decks, proposals in collaboration with our design team
- Potentially attend advertising conferences/events to increase brand awareness
Qualifications
- 1+ years of related sales experience
- Able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Clear and proven record of winning new clients
- Creative, outside-the-box thinker and strategist
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically to identify a brand’s key business objectives and challenges, and translate into compelling value propositions
- Team player mentality with experience working collaboratively
- Contacts at media agencies and clients, and a strong knowledge of accounts, planning teams and planning cycles
- Ability to craft a strong presentation and excellent communications skills
- Rigorous attention to detail, drive for excellence, and a positive can-do approach
- Track record of delivering and exceeding revenue goals
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
