*Note: this is a hands-on position. The maintenance technician is directly responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs to our equipment, facility, and grounds.

Responsibilities:

• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
• Plan, perform and oversee all repair and installation activities
• Carry out routine facility inspections to identify any safety or OSHA issues and resolve
• Monitor equipment issues and requisition parts
• Monitor expenses and control the maintenance budget
• Manage relationships with contractors and any service providers
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies

Requirements:

• Proven experience as maintenance technician or manager
• Experience in planning maintenance operations
• Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical wiring
• Ability to keep track of and report on maintenance activities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience with common industrial tools and products
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
• Computer skills a plus

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
