Maintenance Technician (Day Shift)
Pocono Mountain Villas by Exploria - Bushkill, PA.
$16.00 per hour - Full Time
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provides exceptional service to all guests and potential guests by assisting them in a friendly and efficient way
- Performs necessary repairs and preventive maintenance tasks in a manner responsive to guest satisfaction and to preservation of Company assets in a safe, cost- effective manner
- Requires advanced knowledge of maintenance skills
- Requires ability to handle all aspects of hotel/resort maintenance
- Requires general knowledge of building maintenance to include minor electrical repair, appliance repair and plumbing
- Requires self-motivation and organizational skills
- Requires ability to be available for emergency repairs
- Will possess the ability to prioritize a rapidly changing task list for the satisfaction of our guests.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Requires minimum of 1 year of experience in facilities, maintenance, or related field is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be punctual, dependable and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Physical Demands:
- Work outdoors for extended periods of time.
- Constant standing with some walking.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up 50-75 pounds
