MUST PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK / DRUG SCREEN / PROOF OF VALID DRIVERS LICENSE

As an ELS Technician you will be completing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairing Baggage Handling Systems and/or Passenger Boarding Bridges; Mentoring, and training.

WHAT SKILLS WILL CREATE THE MOST IMPACT

• Previous experience working on conveyors and/or passenger boarding bridges
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and engineering drawings.
• HVAC, welding/ brazing, and/or plumbing knowledge preferred
• Minimum 2 years of previous basic electrical and/or electronic systems work experienceDiagnoses equipment failures under the guidance of senior personnel; ensures equipment is running safely.
• Takes direction and seeks the guidance and expertise of senior level personnel and accepts training and mentoring from them.
• Provides direction, guidance and expertise to personnel assigned to assist in maintenance and repair activities, conducts training and mentoring responsibilities; may act as lead in the absence of Sr. Technicians and/or supervisors

• PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is a physically demanding position which requires on-the-job security training and the ability to receive all applicable airport security badges.
• WORK ENVIRONMENT Works in all areas located on Airport property. May be around dust, dirt, moving machinery, temperature changes, heights and noise levels below OSHA minimum requirements. Use of PPE is required.
