CANDIDATES EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ prior apartment maintenance, cleaning, and outside grounds or janitorial, maintenance experience.
• Minimum High School diploma/GED equivalent.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent attendance; reliable, dependable
• Knowledge of hazardous material regulations, proper storage procedures for OSHA safety compliance.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently at multiple apartment communities.
• Ability to multi-task with excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with residents, contractors, team members.

Conifer Realty is seeking a reliable, self-motivated Maintenance Technician to begin their career with us at GALA Senior Apartments, Philadelphia, PA. (50-Units). This is a great opportunity to be on a supportive team and take pride in maintaining a clean, sanitary facility. This apartment community is undergoing an extensive renovation project with all new apartments when completed. Background check and drug screen conducted.

Responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining indoor and outdoor maintenance and clean presentation of this 50-unit Senior apartment community.
• Indoor maintenance will include completing routine painting, carpentry, dry wall, cleaning, minor plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, and other maintenance activities in response to work orders; will also prep vacant units for new residents to move-in.
• Responding to emergency on-call duties within 30 minutes of on-call notification as required or assigned. May be assigned to also cover other properties for on-call coverage as needed. On-call will also require nights, weekends, and 24 hour availability.
