• This position responds to work orders for a variety of issues which include, but may not be limited to, the following:
• Physical plant repairs (including structural repairs, painting, roof, ceiling, walls, etc)
• Plumbing repairs
• Electrical repairs

• Completes “preventative” physical plant maintenance, as identified by store surveys.

• Meet response time parameters for repair types, including ensuring high priority work, as communicated by dispatch, is completed first.

• Ensure that assigned vehicle is appropriately stocked with parts and tools as needed. Appropriately maintains company vehicle.

• Complete accurate work order reporting within required timelines

• Available to work “on call” as assigned. May require unscheduled overtime, or ability to respond to emergency situations.

• Communicate with all team members to ensure that technician’s work assists store employees in being “customer obsessed” to provide customer satisfaction.

• Strong communication skills, able to interact with store staff and customers
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record; responsible to drive company vehicle
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year experience in mechanical, facilities, or construction trade, or trade school equivalent.

Preferred:

• Certifications for electrical and/or plumbing

• Other certifications or licenses (OSHA, HAZMAT, mechanical etc.)

• Will require extended periods of standing, bending, kneeling, pushing/pulling, reaching, etc.
• Will require ability to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs, as needed
• May require ability to work flexible hours, when on-call or as needed for emergency situations
