The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for evaluating, planning, organizing, assigning, communicating, monitoring, and maintaining a work flow for the team. Based on the planned maintenance and production schedules, the Maintenance Supervisor will advise on staffing level needed for each shift to perform required maintenance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Reviews PM work orders and assigns accordingly
  • Takes work samplings for each production line throughout shift, and uses the data to determine effectiveness and performance level
  • Plans for training and development of team members
  • Monitors and maintains shift assignments
  • Reviews and evaluates completed work orders
  • Plans short and long term goals/objectives for improving operation's performance, in conjunction maintenance manager and production
  • Follows all company policies and procedures, including GMP, and food safety and quality
  • Develops work order instructions for all work orders as required

Education/Experience:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with, or desire to learn, Computerized Maintenance Management System
  • At least 5 years of maintenance supervisory experience preferred

Required Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to effectively communicate with management and floor personnel
  • Must be able to read electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, and construction drawings and schematics
  • Ability to illustrate and/or train team members how to perform a complex task
  • Ability to create detailed work order instructions/routines for PM work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $85,000.00 per year
