Opportunity

Responsible for supporting plant mechanical and electrical maintenance and provide support for project engineering programs and capital projects consistent with sound engineering practices. Support facilities maintenance on selected projects and repairs as directed. Responsible for leading training for both maintenance and facilities technicians. Responsible for working with MRO to order parts and supplies to complete corrective repairs and projects.

Specific Responsibilities

• Responsible for the supervision and oversight of all special projects to include maintenance, facilities, and capital.
• Responsible for providing training to both maintenance and facilities technicians as directed by the maintenance manager.
• Responsible for scheduling the manpower, availability, and parts to meet the repair and special project objectives as planned by both maintenance and facilities.
• Responsible for maintaining a good working relationship with all departments and all shifts.
• Trained on all applicable SOPs, LOPs, policies, and procedures.

Skills/Requirements

• College degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing operation environment, organization, planning, and developing work schedules to maintain smooth operations.
• A good knowledge of sound practices and principles of supervision, ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, develop, and train subordinates.
• 2+ years of experience in HVAC and Sheet Metal Fabrication.
• 2+ years or more of experience with flooring.
• 2+ years of experience in Electrical.
• Gas and plumbing experience preferred.
