J&J Snack Foods is a recognized leader and innovator in the snack food industry. J&J Snack Foods provides nutritious and affordable branded-niche snack foods to foodservice and retail supermarket outlets across the U.S. Its products include such icons as SUPERPRETZEL and ICEE, fan favorites like Luigi’s Italian Ice, The Funnel Cake Factory Funnel Cakes, and Tio Pepe’s Churros, as well as a host of other products spanning the baked goods, frozen beverage, and frozen novelties categories. This position we seek a highly reliable individual who will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of production equipment that is utilized by our organization.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct PMs on all equipment to ensure reliability and production run time.
• Perform diagnosis and repair on malfunctioning equipment.
• Communicate with other employees to ensure status and action plans on repairs.
• Work as part of our team to exceed expectations with regard to production goals and equipment reliability.
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and installations of production and packaging line equipment and machinery.
• Modify facilities, buildings and grounds according to a set schedule as well as in emergency and non-emergency situations.

Must have a working knowledge of pumps and gearboxes; Must know correct alignment of gears, pulleys and sprockets; Repair and install piping inside and outside plant; Must be able to do some sheet metal forming and layout; Must be able to diagnose equipment and solve problems.
