Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Maintenance Engineer II at our facility you will have the opportunity to be both an expert in your field and a caregiver, providing important services for our patients and staff. Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. You will joining an impressive team that prides themselves on keeping our hospital functioning well and looking its best. In this role:

• You will assist in the performance of duties necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment of hospital in good repair.
• You will perform minor electrical work, mechanical repairs and other duties relating to maintenance.
• You will assist the HVAC technician in maintaining and repairing HVAC controls and associated equipment to maximize efficiency levels in all environmentally controlled areas.
• You will assist in maintaining and repairing Boilers, DA tanks, and associated equipment to maximize efficiency of steam generation operation
• You will perform urgent corrective, routine and requisitioned repairs of electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems as required.
• You will assist in replacing, installing, repairing and testing electrical circuits, equipment, appliances and lighting systems as required.
• You will perform manual duties as requested (i.e., moving supplies or furniture, replacing light bulbs, removing trash or scrap material).
• You will Maintain routine records of all inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs performed on any equipment or system.

Qualifications:

• Four years of experience in a maintenance environment.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license.
