Full-time 80 hours every 2 weeks | 3:30p to 12:00a | Sunday – Thursday or Tuesday – Saturday

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs duties related to preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Also includes steam, gases, air, vacuum, water and sewage lines. Duties may also include construction or renovation. May be assigned to shift work for 24-hour coverage of maintenance needs. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.

CORE FUNCTIONS:

• Focus for this role will be patient bed and zoom cart repairs and maintenance
• Preventive maintenance, inspect, test and repair equipment
• Calibrate / adjust equipment as necessary
• Repair or replace defective parts
• Lubricate and clean equipment
• Install new equipment
• Provide data needed for ordering parts and/or order parts
• Maintain pertinent documentation including accurate and timely updates to work orders with asset information and work completed details in the work order management system
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Must have good computer, written and verbal skills.
• Technical knowledge/experience in building systems and equipment required.

• DOT Health Card Current DOT Health Card issued by the Employee Health Services Department at the St. Cloud Hospital may be required.
• A valid Minnesota Class D driver’s license Required

• Technical or trade school preferred.
• Driving record in good standing.
