• Effectively manages assigned loan and deposit relationships. Engages approved external agencies timely to ensure the bank's principle is safeguarded. Recommends timely risk rating adjustments, updating required accruals and loan loss recognition.
• Monitors collections with a professional manner and within customer communication parameters and coordinate the enforcement of Bank's rights and remedies for defaulted loans.
• Maintains advanced knowledge of industry rules and regulations impacting specialty collections, including the timely filing of claims and motions safeguarding the Bank's principal.
• Coordinates with stakeholder departments to ensure compliance within company policies and regulatory ordinances.
• Upholds awareness of risk within functional area, inclusive of policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
• Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor's degree Multiple disciplines would be considered or related professional experience

Minimum Experience:

• Ten years 10+ years in Banking, Debt Collection, Financial, Legal, Mortgage

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Experience with fundamental banking principles and basic legal functions
• Above average written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of applicable industry rules and regulations
• Competent negotiation and reasoning skills
• High proficiency in computers, systems, and Microsoft Office products
