Oberfields LLC is currently seeking an individual to work as our Machine Operator at our Sunbury, OH facility. The primary objective of this position will be to visually inspect finished products moving down our conveyor lines for quality issues and operate automated cuber in a safe and efficient manner to ensure that quality products are being cubed at all times. Ideal candidates for our Machine Operator position will be energetic, organized, have basic mathematic ability and two years of experience in production operations. They should be able to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is for the Night Shift with the hours of 6 AM to 6 PM Monday thru Friday, with overtime and weekends as needed. The Machine Operator position will report directly to the Plant Manager.

Job Description:

· Monitor and operate the cuber, automator, pallet indexer, cube conveyor, upcar / locar, splitter, and block turnover.

· Assure that the correct cubing pattern is being maintained and make adjustments when necessary.

· Perform the proper start-up and shutdown procedures on the cuber, and pallet indexer.

· Inspect block prior to entering the cuber and separate out culls and trash.

· Keep accurate counts of cubes, blocks, culls (seconds), and trash, and fill in on the daily cubing report.

· Assist in clean-up of the entire production area.

· Maintain the material handler responsibilities when necessary.

· Keeping pallet indexer stocked w/pallets or block bottoms.

· Bag (Wrap) and label all special-order products.

· Monitor and operate the splitter and assist in making any adjustments,

· Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner.

· Assist in machine changeovers, cleaning of mold boxes.

· Observe the other production areas and assist in clearing up any problems.

· Assist in repairs and a maintenance as needed.

· Keep trash build up areas on the floor clear throughout the shift.

· Complete the equipment checklist before operating the forklift, or front loader.

Position Qualifications/Requirements:

· Mathematical Skills

· Teamwork

· Ability to lift up to and including 100 pounds

· Forklift Equipment Operation Skills

· Must enjoy a fast- paced work environment

· High School Diploma

· Good communication skills
