The Service Lot Attendant helps ensure complete customer satisfaction by moving vehicles in and around the service area/lot, maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles and the service area, delivering vehicles to customers after service is complete, and transporting customers to/from their home when needed.

The ideal candidate has a high energy level, positive attitude, desire to work in a fast-paced environment, and a valid driver’s license.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides and ensures exceptional customer service in our sales department;
• Receipts new vehicles and matches serial numbers against incoming vehicle records;
• Inspects vehicles for damage and missing items;
• Records transportation damage and missing items on bill of lading and secures driver's signature;
• Parks new and used vehicles for staging to PDI;
• Tags vehicle and keys, delivers vehicle books to Sales Department;
• Keeps the vehicle display neat, clean and organized according to the instructions of the Sales Manager;
• Moves vehicles to and from storage locations;
• Ensures the care and security of the vehicle assets;
• Abides by the group's policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook;
• Communicates and coordinates regularly with appropriate others to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of interdepartmental operations and activities;
• Exhibits integrity, ingenuity, enthusiasm and inventiveness in the performance of assigned tasks;
• Performs other directly related duties consistent with the role and function of the specification.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License;
• Passing driving record in accordance with our insurance carrier requirements;
• Basic knowledge of department functions, policies and organization;
• Basic knowledge of current vehicle department technology, terminology, procedures and equipment;
• Ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing, using technical and non-technical language;
• Ability to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure of deadlines;
• Ability and willingness to quickly learn and put to use new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing information and/or technology.
