Logistics Territory Manager – remote, US
This is a full-time, exempt position.
This position falls within the FOB Trucking Minneapolis team. The individual will work closely with ADM Fertilizer (wholesale & Farm Direct), Processing in Enderlin, ND, Edible Bean & Pea Protein specialty groups, and other ADM FOB Trucking teams to maximize company trading & execution opportunities. There is a strong emphasis on communication and teamwork in this position in an effort to provide cost competitive, reliable freight for the placement of ADM and third-party products in the marketplace.

This is a full-time, exempt position.
This position falls within the FOB Trucking Minneapolis team. The individual will work closely with ADM Fertilizer (wholesale & Farm Direct), Processing in Enderlin, ND, Edible Bean & Pea Protein specialty groups, and other ADM FOB Trucking teams to maximize company trading & execution opportunities. There is a strong emphasis on communication and teamwork in this position in an effort to provide cost competitive, reliable freight for the placement of ADM and third-party products in the marketplace.
Description of work performed:
- Manage delivered sales for ADM Fertilizer from Sergeant Bluff, Marion, Twin Brooks, & Hitchcock, SD. This includes both wholesale & farm direct while working to expand ADM’s trade territory west into Montana.
- Execute ADM’s specialty book with Sunflowers and Canola into the Enderlin Crush Plant
- Support where needed on the new Soybean plant in Spiritwood, ND for ADM’s JV
- Deliver on ADM’s Pea Program, executing on small windows with large volumes
- Run a set of Owner/Operators under the ADM umbrella for the truck group
- Interface with carriers and customers throughout the South Dakota region
- Discover and enhance domestic market opportunities. Increase the number of origination and destination markets while utilizing trucks to expand the draw territories for both North & South Dakota.
- Identify and analyze market opportunities by maintaining close contact with other ADM divisions, external customers and truck carriers.
- Communicate market information both within the office and throughout the company as market opportunities present themselves while maintaining a good understanding of current freight rates, freight lanes, and product flows in the trade area.

- University Degree in Agriculture or related field of study, preferred
- 2+ years of experience in commodity trading and or logistics
- Computer competence, especially use of email, Microsoft Office (Access, Teams, Excel, Word, & PP), PC Miler, IBM, and internal web based applications
- Demonstrated capacity to excel in a fast paced environment
- This position requires working at a desk both on a telephone and at a computer for prolonged periods of time
- Some travel required with this position
- Onboard 25 new carriers through RMIS
- Visit 10 different trucking companies in person
- Visit 10 different growers/coop’s that ADM transacts with.
- Maintain a close working relationship with James Steinberger & Ryan Moran
- Establish a working relationship with ADM JV’s & Grain Elevators
- Harrold, Hitchcock, Miller
- Marion, Hitchcock, Twin Brooks
- Daily communication with the Minneapolis FOBT group, via Teams Chat
- Managing Sunflowers & Canola into Enderlin
- Managing Pea’s into Prosper
- Managing Edible Beans into carriers ADM Edible Bean Locations
- Managing Fertilizer sales from multiple South Dakota Origins
- Running a team of trucks under ADM
