The Manager of Logistics Systems will lead the Labor Management team by providing technical expertise and guidance related to logistics execution within McLane's distribution network. They are responsible for implementing more efficient distribution methodologies and rolling out various logistics systems to improve productivity and quality.

- Lead the Labor Management program implementation and maintenance of engineered standards within McLane DC operations.
- Manage and align the strategic KPIs and reporting with senior leadership across the Grocery business unit related to performance standards, utilization and incentive pay.
- Take the initiative to investigate needs, evaluate alternatives, and analyze and recommend productivity improvement opportunities to senior management and operations.
- Operational design, describing the flow of work and material.
- Project management for the implementation of productivity improvement projects and systems-related projects.
- Responsible for the optimal performance of the distribution systems and how they affect the operations of the 20 McLane Grocery distribution centers.
- Train distribution center management how to review appropriate reports from each system and provide for swift resolution of the opportunities indicated by these reports.
- This position has additional duties. Special projects may be assigned at the position supervisor's discretion.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Have a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Production Management, Finance, or Operations Research.
- Extensive experience with Manhattan LMS and/ or Blue Yonder LMS preferred.
- Have at least 5 years of distribution industry work experience.
- Experience implementing and configuring Labor Management Systems is required.
- Have a solid understanding of warehousing practices, distribution terminology, and inventory control best practices.
- Have knowledge of the distribution industry, principles of inventory management, general accounting practices, purchasing techniques, and elements of the physical distribution system.
- Have project management experience.
- Excellent data analysis skills, WMS, and system skills are a must.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word).
