Job Summary

Our Logistics Coordinator is offered for anyone who has the capability, through education, training, or experience, to handle a wide variety of client's shipping requests and inquiries. Through professional communication and liaison, this position is the key to bridge company resources such as vendors, accounting personnel, and sales/marketing team. The company expects to continuously develop potential candidates within this position to lead as Chief of Operations in the future. Responsibilities and Duties

• Dispatch, and manage performance of logistics tasks assigned to vendors for meeting the performance demands of clients.
• Prevent and troubleshoot logistics incidents that may cause or had caused in-transit delays.
• Review performance on contractual commitments, estimate and calculate delay and risks of different shipments and schedules in terms of cost.
• Help clients to develop and implement cost effective transportation methods and procedures that will maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Use web-based logistics information systems to track the flow of vehicles or inventory and closely monitor the product flow from origin to final delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

A Bachelor's degree or 2-years of experience in freight forwarding is required.

A Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or 4-years of experience in freight forwarding is preferred.

Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and uses of, such as Excel pivot table, Excel formulas.

Microsoft Excel macro, Access, and SQL is preferred, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,600.00 - $67,200.00 per year
