General Summary:
Exxact Express is excited to announce it is now hiring for a mid-level position in its Logistics Sales Team. We are looking for highly driven, organized, and tenacious individuals looking to continue to build a career in Sales, In the Kettering/Dayton area. This Position will be responsible for obtaining and growing new business as part of our business development team here at Exxact. This position is perfect for the individual who is looking to build a long-term career that is both highly rewarding and challenging.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business leads through outbound calls and emails to customers.
- Provide outstanding customer service and keep the name Exxact Express interchangeable with integrity and service.
- Interacts courteously, timely, and professionally with internal departments to satisfy customer issues and/or process exceptions to normal guidelines (including, but not limited to: shipping, pricing, scheduling, credit, and accounting).
- Utilizes all necessary internal applications, including, but not limited to: McLeod LME, PC Miler, Internet, e-mail, Word and Excel.
Qualifications:
- Positive, “go getter “attitude, with a hunger and drive to “work hard, play hard.”
- Not afraid to get on the phone and make outbound calls to potential customers.
- Ability to focus on work and thrive in a loud, fast pasted, high activity environment.
- STRONG 3-5 years of demonstrated history of customer service and consumer-based customer care.
- 3-5 years of relevant Logistics/ Logistics Sales experience
- Desire to learn, grow and develop into the manager of your own book of business and your own customer base.
- High School diploma or GED
Education and Experience
- 4 year degree from an accredited university (Preferred)
- 3-5 years sales experience (Preferred)
