This position works indoors and outdoors year-round, subject to weather elements and temperatures. We provide water and hydrants. This person must have a strong tolerance to walk a lot, Position may require long periods of standing and sitting and the ability to work long hours if necessary. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

The logistic assistant is responsible for dispatch, inventory, and filing necessary of department. And is the support of Logistic Leader.

· Dispatching with drivers and operators to ensure the movement of shipments are on time by appointment with logical schedule.

· Support in responding to jobsites/plant to ensure that the communication has been followed through by request.

· Keep up with inventory for trailers, material, and BOL’s.

· Perform a daily check in the back 4 times a day to make sure nobody is back there and not getting out in time.

· Keeping a daily log of trucks on when they come out.

· Keep up with drivers and make sure they are delivering and returning in a fashionable time.

· Reviewing Bol’s and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.

· Making special shipping requests in a timely manner to ensure the jobsite is getting what they need.

· Assist the jobsites with dispatching drivers and return calls within a fashionable time.

· Tracking and fixing shipping errors.

· Preparing bills and invoices and administrative documentation of haulers in an organized manner.

· Making sure all the load list is printed out. Ensuring all the sequence is written out.

· Writing and dispatching BOL’s

· Must be organized and pay good attention to everything that is dispatched or communicated through the

· Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with product manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Assistant on shipping and logistic experience is preferable.

· Bilingual is a plus.

· Microsoft Office Word, email, excel, powerpoint.

· Able to commute on time to the location.

· Staying efficient and organized to ensure that we are ahead and successful.

· Help and assist with daily operations.

· Will have to have great communication and memory.

· Flexible schedule

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods standing and walking.

· Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.

· Must be able to visually inspect loads.

· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
