LMS System Administrator
Job description
We're looking for a LMS System Administrator to provide administrative and technical support for learning management and backup for performance management initiatives incorporating the use of the electronic performance management system and the learning management system in the application of performance and organization development. This individual will also be responsible for the design, development, and administration of technology-based learning activities including online courses, tutorials, and job aids.
The LMS System Administrator will develop and plan for the use of technology through Cornerstone's LMS. This position serves as the lead LMS System Administrator for NCDAS and is responsible for troubleshooting system issues; managing the learning management system. enterprise-wide performance system and serving as a backup system NCVIP Administrator.
This individual will provide administrative support to the Performance and Organizational Development Team. This position will perform a variety of duties which include but are not limited to:
Providing technical and administrative work in support of educational and training programs- Providing support for training programs by facilitating sessions and coaching participants
- Providing administrative work with the learning management system (LMS)
- Compiling reports on training programs and maintains training records
- Providing an outstanding customer service experience using strong computer and analytical/problem-solving skills; strong commitment to customer service.
- Provide facilitation in group discussions, be analytical, and create key points for follow-up, deliver engaging learning experiences successfully teach the content of complex subject matter on policy, procedure, and best practices
- Providing SME services in learning management systems and other learning technologies to include performance management.
- Additional duties as assigned

Work Schedule: 8a - 4:30/5:00p (Monday - Friday) (Hybrid Remote)
- Advanced knowledge of learning management systems and other learning technologiesincluding but not limited to social media and virtual classrooms
- Experience working with various databases and data integration principles
- Extensive knowledge of staff development, online learning and the methodology used in the development and delivery of formal and non-formal education programs
- Knowledge of human resource management, policy administration, leadership, supervision and performance management principles
- Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, plan and implement effective and innovative training and development programs
- Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, training evaluation methods and needs assessments
- Ability to develop curriculum to create eLearning or virtual courseware and training material
- Ability to provide technical support for web-based, virtual and learning technologies
- Working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Ability to establish effective relationships among HR peers, management and other internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to establish daily and weekly priorities and collaborate with team
- Experience with Adobe Connect Pro, WebEx, Adobe, Articulate storyline
Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of training development experience in a progressive training or teaching role;
or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
