Live-out Housekeeper/Nanny
Location: Greenwich, CT
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday (7:15am – 7pm) with flexibility for later evenings as needed
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 based on experience
Overview:
A family of five (children ages 9, 7 and 4) seeks an experienced and skilled live-in or live-out Housekeeper & Nanny to assist with systematic cleaning of their residence in Greenwich. Secondarily, the client requires assistance with childcare in the afternoons, which includes local driving and basic meal preparation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- All aspects of general housekeeping and cleaning of residence, including but not limited to, vacuuming, dusting, laundry, and ironing. Should have experience with the care and cleaning of fine surfaces such as delicate wood flooring, marble, china, antiques, etc.
- Laundry for the family, including ironing
- Childcare duties will consist of driving the children to activities and appointments as needed
- Simple, family-style cooking for dinner
- Miscellaneous errands as needed within town
- Summer schedule shifts to live-in in the Hamptons (July – August)
Requirements:
- Skilled organizer, who is a self-starter and can maintain organization throughout the house
- Active, attentive, patient, and caring with children
- Must be hardworking, motivated, and responsible
- Must have driver’s license; car to be provided during workday
- Able to travel with family as needed (domestically and internationally, few times a year)
- Non-smoker
- Fully vaccinated
