We are looking for Full Time LVNs to join our dayshift or nightshifts teams at Kindred Hospital Paramount.

Kindred Hospital Paramount is an 177-bed long-term acute care hospital, we offer the same critical care that patients receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit, but for an extended recovery period. Our LVNs play a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients. Located in Los Angeles County, our facility is the largest long-term acute care provider in the region. We are located at: 16453 South Colorado Avenue, Paramount, CA 90723.

Under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, our Kindred Licensed Vocational Nurses ( LVN) provide nursing care within the scope of licensure for assigned patients according to established nursing standards and hospital policies and procedures.

• Administers medication, performs treatments and patient care responsibilities as prescribed.
• Consults with and keeps Registered Nurse informed of activities, symptoms, reactions, and changes in the patient's condition with regard to assigned patients.
• Interacts professionally with patient/family and involves patient/family in the formation of the plan of care.
• Assists with admitting, discharging and transferring of patients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.48 - $34.32 per hour
