Randstad Healthcare is hiring a qualified LPN for an outpatient ENT clinic that specializes in Allergy and Asthma treatment in Dacula, GA. This will be a flexible contract starting at 13 weeks with the likelihood of extension and the possibility of direct hire.

You will be working under the direction of the Physician, Nurse Supervisor and/or Office Manager. These clinics specialize in treatment of allergies and asthma, with provision of injections and patient monitoring as key aspect of this role. You should be skilled at recognizing the patient's needs and symptoms in advance and providing care for the patient under the physician's direction. Primary responsibilities will include: rooming patients, checking vital signs, reviewing medications,providing medication and injections, patient monitoring and scheduling appts.

• Payrate: ranging from $25-$29/hr, paid weekly

Schedule:

• Monday: 9AM - 6:30PM
• Tuesday: 8:30 AM - 5PM
• Wednesday: 7:30AM - 4PM
• Thursday: 8:30AM - 6PM
• *Friday: Decula office closed or candidate can rotate to another clinic location (mileage reimbursement provided)
• *LPN is required to monitor patients for half an hour after provision of an injection - you may be required to remain past office closing to monitor and provide patient care

Responsibilities

• Planning and managing patient care according to each patient’s needs
• Interviewing patients, recording their medical history, and scheduling appointments
• Obtaining patient vital signs and escorting patients to their rooms
• Administering injections of medications
• Verifying that patient charts are updated promptly and accurately
• Observing and recording patients’ conditions and reactions to medications and treatments

Qualifications

• 2+ years of LPN experience (within the last 3 years)
• Current GA LPN License
• Current BLS required by start date
