We are hiring a Licensed Personal Lines
Customer Service Representative to join our award-winning agency.

Base Pay $45,000-$62,000 + Commission + Benefits!

**Must be possess an active Property & Casualty License in the state of Maryland**

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with rating process as needed for new and renewal business in a timely manner for all personal lines products while ensuring accurate and personalized quotes
  • Verify rating information relevant to the quoting process and collaborate with the appropriate team member when information is incomplete or missing
  • Utilize the comparative rater to determine the best market and finalize pricing in the appropriate carrier rating system
  • Maintain a quality control process to ensure accuracy of products and pricing
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of carrier underwriting guidelines, line of business trends and coverage changes or updates

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of personal lines insurance experience working in an Independent Agency
  • Valid Maryland Property and Casualty License
  • Superior personal lines insurance knowledge
  • Assume other job responsibilities as assigned by department manager.
  • Experience rating and quoting with multiple insurance carriers
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Products and Services
  • Experience with EPIC management system a plus
  • Service all aspects of personal lines accounts in a manner to eliminate gaps in coverage, thus reducing our E&O exposures
  • Prepare and process cancellations and endorsements when required.
  • Review all applications, policies, endorsements for accuracy
  • Maintain all client activity in our agency management system, EPIC
  • Assume other job responsibilities as assigned by department manager
  • Always Provide the client with an exceptional service experience

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
