This position is for our Customer Support Team. Responsible for greeting and assisting clients when they come into the child support lobby or on the telephone. This position will answer basic child support questions, provide payment records for clients, review client documents and applications when they are dropping them off. Support for our intake team in many different aspects of the child support process.

This is a full-time, benefitted position . The work schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. This position is hybrid, will work from home and at St. Vrain Hub . Under FLSA guidelines, this position is non-exempt (eligible for overtime).

Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.

Hiring Salary Range: $48,264.00 - $58,932.00 Annually

Tentative Hiring Timeline:
  • First Round Interviews: Week of May 1st
  • Second Round Interviews: Week of May 8th

Examples of Duties

  • Greet members of the public, assess their needs and provide program information in person and on the telephone or via electronic communications.
  • Conduct administrative and some legal related research in judicial systems, State databases and in collaboration with other jurisdictions and partner agencies
  • Review complex legal documents follow-up on additional required document processing
  • Review existing court orders and legal documents and exercise professional judgment in next step case processing
  • Complex data entry through multiple County and State computer systems.
  • Provides backup assistance for other co-workers as required
  • Performs related work as required
  • May be reassigned in emergency situations

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Boulder County is looking for well-qualified candidates to fill our positions. In this position, we are looking for a minimum of high school graduation or equivalent and two years of administrative support experience, including one year performing eligibility determination, legal secretarial work, or related work.

Additional related education may count towards required experience.

CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK AND FINGERPRINTING:
  • Applicants must pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting
