Job description
As a Learning + Development Specialist, your primary function will be assisting the Training Department with facilitation of classroom and application training. Other responsibilities in this entry-level role include: employee evaluations, and program development. This position reports to the Learning + Development Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate classroom and application training for new employees.
- Schedule and conduct evaluations to access an employee’s level of skill.
- Maintain employee training records.
- Create training folders and welcome materials for new employees.
- Assess instructional effectiveness and gather feedback.
- Collaborate with other members of the Training Department.
- Assist in maintaining in house training facilities and equipment.
- Market available training opportunities to employees to provide necessary information
- Contribute to ad hoc projects.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail
- Works well in a fast-paced team setting
- Ability to work on multiple tasks in a time sensitive environment
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 1 year of experience working in an office environment
