The Role

The Lead Project Manager oversees a variety of complex, business-critical initiatives. The Lead PM is a leader of complex projects within Connected Communities. Of which may involve multiple business units and functional areas, including but not limited to legal, marketing, finance, process, IT, etc. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing various initiatives to fulfill scope, timing, budget expectations, and overall project outcomes.

The Main Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and manage the execution of project milestones not limited to but including Quantum Fiber Instant internet and Instant Wi-Fi
• Manage the Quantum Fiber migration
• Sign off on properties impacted per migration
• Ensure all critical internal timelines are met
• Disconnect processed within SLA
• Comport restricted within SLA
• Act as a customer-facing single point of contact during the project’s life.
• Ensure timely project completion and delivery.
• Develops project progress and status reports
• Lead project meetings, including the creation of agendas and minutes
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including tracking/managing action items and ensuring deliverables are completed on time.
• Set program objectives and establish clear measures to define and meet project deliverables and timelines successfully.
• Through a partnership with other staff organizations, define KPI, training, process standards, policies, and procedures associated with all projects.
• Employ judgment to make business decisions about the things that will impact the project, customer or company, and has the authority to stop activities from proceeding when moving forward can have a negative impact.
• Successfully hand off ongoing tasks
  

What We Look For in a Candidate

Minimum:

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or 5+ years of related experience
• Self-motivated and able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and clients in parallel in a time-sensitive environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively; strong communication skills are a requirement.
• Demonstrated ability to use and apply business acumen.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Product, Operations, and Support.
• Ability to quickly understand technical aspects of product/service, both from a functionality perspective but also from operations/setup perspective and be able to articulate it to a less technical audience.
• Exceptional leadership skills
• Proven ability to assign, schedule and manage tasks effectively.
• Excellent conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills
• Proven teamwork and motivational skills
• Highly organized
• Strong ability to assess an initiative’s strengths and weaknesses.
• Strong record of monitoring project outcomes to ensure goals are met

Preferred:

• PMI PMP or higher certification preferred.
• Experience leading multiple complex projects in the technology industry
• 4+ years in project management experience
