Responsibilities and Duties

Job Responsibilities include:

-Position requires warm, caring and nurturing individual who has experience working with children in a formal group setting.

-Preferable experience in Early Childhood, Lesson planning, and continuous daily interaction with children required.

-Communicate positively with students, parents and staff.

-Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school, and collective/individual interest of its staff and student body.

-Observation anecdotal notes and assessments of children in daily programming

Qualifications and Skills

Qualifications: Lead Teacher: 2 years experience as lead or CDA or Associates degree in ECE or related field

Experience with Creative Curriculum and Step Up to Quality (STUQ) a plus

Must be flexible, energetic, with an ability to multi-task, plan, organize, and problem solve

Strong communication and people skills; ability to work in team environment

-All positions require background screening and medical clearance-

-Must be able to lift and carry child up to 45 lbs

Qualifications:

Lead Teacher: 1 year or more experience as teacher;

Minimum of CDA , Associates or Bachelors Degree; CPL 3 required
