Job description
The Umlor Group has immediate availability for a Land Surveyor with 2+ years of land surveying expertise for our Wixom, MI office location.
The Survey Crew Chief will provide accurate and timely service to our clients through expertise in land surveying and leading a survey team. They will be responsible for completing the work scheduled for the day and assuring the accuracy of the work performed.
Daily Functions to Include:
- Perform construction staking, topographic surveys, boundary and NSPS surveys, tree and wetland surveys, asbuilt surveys, level loops, setting site control, etc.
- Guide and teach crew members.
- Utilize Leica survey equipment, robotics, and GPS.

Required Education and Experience for Survey Crew Chief
- High School Diploma.
- 2+ years in land surveying
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus
Must have a Valid Driver’s License in good standing, demonstrating safe driving habits and capable of being insured by our company policy.
