Overview:

Imperial Dade, leading national distributor, has a job open in Jersey City, NJ. The Sales Development team is hiring a talented Key Account Specialist! The Key Account Specialist will be responsible for managing high profile national accounts. You will serve as the internal primary point of contact for the assigned accounts and partner with the outside sales rep. to support the business. You will be expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with the customer, outside sales rep an internal support team. Coordinating with internal teams to deliver on client expectations. Offer sales support and take on any special projects as needed. The ideal candidate will work well independently and, on a team, while exercising discretion and judgement in communicating with customers, understanding their needs. This position will be Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. Salary range $50,000-$60,000

Responsibilities:
You will:
  • Manage national key accounts- which includes audits, orders, confirmations, pricing increases, product reviews, delivery conflicts and general issues – in addition to working alongside purchasing, accounts receivables, pricing dept/contracts, service/repair, routing, and warehouse teams to make sure accounts are running efficiently.
  • Help troubleshoot problems with customer orders, customer accounts and other related issues
  • Serve as a liaison between the customer and the company, effectively communicating feedback and suggestions for improvement
  • Provide customer service by staying on top of pending orders, order entry and following up on customer and sales requests.
  • Analyze data and provide sales reports to customers, the sales team, and internal depts.
  • Monitor and analyze customers’ usage of our product work with purchasing/sales to keep stock on all high usage items.
  • Promote and convert customers to electronic ordering /online ordering.
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
  • Staying informed about competing products and services through vendor seminars, training etc.
Qualifications:
You have:
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Marketing, or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in account management, sales, customer service, or related role.
  • Strong Critical thinking, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and able to work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Previous experience in an outbound call center. Customer service or a related sales/ account management position preferred.
