JUNIOR RESEARCH ANALYST

JOB TITLE: Junior Research Analyst
REPORTS TO: Junior Portfolio Manager
SUMMARY: Investment analysis and database management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain Quick Base (database) used to track Fund investments and activities:
· Input new investments and prepare initial analysis for Portfolio Manager.
· Input new information for existing investments.
· Input other information, as needed.
· Assist in the life insurance policy illustration process; ordering and analysis.
· Assist in the annuity application process.
· Compile application for submission.
· Work with policy owner and brokers/providers for signatures.
· Perform various research and analysis projects for senior management team.
· Assist with presentation materials and analysis.
· Complete closing document verification checklist.
· Work with accounting department on data verification and accuracy.
· Performs other project work and duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· No supervisory responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
· BSc in Finance, Economics, Business, Math, or a related field.
· At least one (1) year related experience or equivalent.
· Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or in the process of achieving is a plus but not required.
KEY SKILLS:
· Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other data base tools.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Acute attention to details.
· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
· Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
· Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within changing priorities with enthusiasm.
REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
· Work with other teams in the office on a variety of projects.
· Continuously improving team processes.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· Fast paced.
· Team based.
· Start-up mentality.
SALARY RANGE:
· $60,000 – 75,000 per annum, paid bi-monthly, final salary based on experience.

· 401k, 3% full match, 3-5% fifty percent match.

· Up to 15 days paid time off per calendar year (accrued at a rate of 5 hours per pay period).
· 8 paid holidays per calendar year.
· Up to 3 paid religious holiday days per calendar year.
· 6-10 weeks of paid parental or maternity leave after 6 months of employment.
· Up to 5 days of paid bereavement leave after 6 months of employment.
· Up to 10 paid jury duty days and paid witness duty leave.
· Up to 2 weeks paid military leave.
· Reasonable paid voting leave.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
