Your Opportunity

The Airbus Cabin & Cargo Engineering is end-to-end responsible for all cabin interior development, integration into the Aircraft and R&T on all Airbus aircraft families. We design and develop to market needs, we support the final product until deployment into service and provide In-Service-Support.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU as an enthusiastic Cabin Engineer!

You will have the opportunity to bring your personality into a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment with a strong customer focus. Good communication and collaboration skills, agile mindset, analytical thinking and fast comprehension of systems and processes are key. Your way of working is result-oriented, self-dependent, proactive and efficient in day-to-day activity.

Your areas of responsibility include the following main topics

  • Understand customer specific needs and their impact on our products

  • Design and configuration of technical solutions including re-use of existing technical options to optimize customization costs

  • Lead projects (e.g. Customization, New Development, R&T)

  • Plan the deliverables in accordance with their impact on the complete end-to-end customization process

  • Prepare the documents for technical and airworthiness approval

  • Guide international suppliers and partners

  • Identify improvements and introduce new designs for future products, contribute to innovative and future-oriented solutions e.g. within Digitalization

  • You are in charge of all technical subjects and interchange with the manufacturing, Delivery Centre and Customer Support Team.

  • Develop and design new cabin modules including integration of electrical equipment

  • Lead technical-, material-, architecture- and trade-studies with cross-functional repercussions

Who We are Looking For

  • You hold a degree in engineering, science or equivalent.

  • First working experience in project management, development, simulation, validation and verification in the aviation industry is beneficial.

  • You are confident in using state of the art engineering IT-tools and material knowledge can be a plus.
