Kunai is a fast-growing digital agency of 120+ people specializing in fintech. Our fully remote team is driven by innovation and experimentation. Over the past decade, we've shipped over 150 products for clients that include Visa, the United Nations, Wells Fargo, Ernst & Young, and TOMS Shoes. Our founders built a previous agency (Monsoon) that was acquired by Capital One in 2015.
Our client is a global payment processing platform focused on commercial and public sector vehicle fleets.
You have:
- 6+ years of Java, hands-on, which can include enterprise experience, or at least in an Agile environment
- Production experience with Spring Boot, Spring framework, REST API, and XML
- JPA/Hibernate & SQL among your working experience with relational databases
- Significant experience with AWS Cloud (our client also has some pieces in colocation)
- Some exposure to CI/CD + Jenkins
Nice to haves:
- WebLogic

- Bachelor's in CS or related field
- You like to work in services, data stores, infrastructure, and payments
