Job description
You will spend your days providing technical assistance and support for all hardware, software, and networking issues in our Hodgkins office as well as our remote locations.
As a member of our team, your days will normally consist of the following activities:
- Manage user accounts
- Installation, configuration and troubleshooting software and hardware: Desktops, Polycom IP Phones, DVRs, Android tablets
- Support local and remote users, devices, and applications with TeamViewer
- Troubleshoot internal application
- Updating internal documentation and knowledge base
- Software updates, and other configurations as required
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and organizational skills. To excel in these daily activities, Desktop / IT Support Specialist would use following skills (not all of these are required, but highly desirable):
- 1+ years of Active Directory experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN and basic VoIP concepts
- Exceptional customer service, communication, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work well with employees at all levels
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
