Job Description


We are seeking an IT Program Manager for a direct hire/permanent role in Los Angeles, CA. This role will be a hybrid schedule of onsite/in the office and some remote work.

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with the project sponsor and cross-functional teams to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new IT initiatives
  • Manage program and project teams, coordinating and delegating cross-project initiatives
  • Maintain our organizational standards of customer satisfaction, quality of service, and performance
  • Employ your process knowledge to optimize efficiency and maximize productivity throughout all of IT
  • Build strong relationships with other department leads, keeping all related team members and other departments engaged
  • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
  • Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders
  • Able to manage many IT projects, understanding the dependencies within and outside of the IT department
  • Assist the VP of IT with scheduling, meeting notes, and other business-related tasks

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  • 5+ years in an advanced management role (preference given to those with program management experience)
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Experience with reporting, planning, change management, and communication.
  • Outstanding working knowledge of IT principles and policies to communicate with IT and other technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with modern project management tools (Jira, SmartSheet)
  • Understanding core IT principles: SMB, NFS, DNS, DHCP, TCP-IP, etc.
  • A people person; with strong communication skills and the ability to work well with various departments.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, ability to prioritize workload, and detailed, methodical approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues based on company demands.
  • Team player who is also comfortable working independently to maximize team/department performance.

Preferred Skills / Competencies

  • Experience working in or with an IT Operations team, creating and managing procedures and playbooks
  • Previous experience working in an IT service role
  • Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow for IT Service Management and IT Operations Management

Additional Information


This permanent/direct hire role will be a hybrid schedule of onsite/ in the office and some remote work. This role will pay between $130,000- $140,000 per year.
