Investment Advisor Operation’s Department Assistant

Registered Investment Advisor is seeking a self-starter with the ability to process multiple tasks. Industry experience is helpful. Candidate will process daily trades and coordinate delivery to custodian bank. Candidate must learn trade processing software quickly to perform daily tasks. Must show excellent communication skills to effectively resolve trade related problems between brokers and the custodian bank.

Candidate must be computer proficient, especially with Microsoft Excel, additional Microsoft products as well as industry software.

Description

• Process daily trade file to the main custodian bank
• Process daily mutual fund trades with main custodian bank
• Rectify trade settlement issues
• Resolve reconciliation issues between system and custodian records
• Posting daily activity to the client accounts
• Set up new securities in system and verify accuracy
• Additional tasks as needed

Requirements

• Accounting or Finance Degree (preferred)
• Understanding of the Securities Industry preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Problem solving skills
• Monitor projects until timely completion
• Follow detailed procedures to complete all tasks
• Take direction

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
