About us
TechFounders is a 20-week international accelerator program offered by UnternehmerTUM – the Center for Innovation and Business Creation at the Technische Universität München. The program brings high-tech start-ups together with world leading industry partners, and venture capitalists. We are looking for a highly motivated Lead Generation / Start-up Scouting Intern who wants to become part of a fast-growing accelerator program.
Your mission

• Lead generation through online and database research
• Organization of data within our startup database, salesforce and elsewhere
• Encouraging startups to apply for the program to meet deadlines while fulfilling both quality and quantity requirements
• Attending start-up networking events and startup conferences to identify suitable start-ups
• Streamlining the process of finding, communicating with, processing, and evaluating potential start-ups

Your profile

• All backgrounds are accepted while business, computer science and technical roles are preferred
• Ability to have a general understanding of different industry verticals and summarize what a company does
• Ability and intuition in deciding which startups are promising and applicable to customers’ use cases
• High interest in startups and innovative technologies; tech-savvy and solution oriented
• Knowledge of online databases including Crunchbase, AngelList and F6S.com is a plus
• Experience around data crawlers and extractors is a major plus
