American Collegiate Adventures runs pre-college summer programs for high school students. Our students attend courses, participate in activities, and go on weekend excursions to experience and preview college life. We offer a residential program at the University of Maryland in College Park.
We are seeking an instructor for our Entrepreneurship Course.
The course will run from July 3rd - July 20th.
Course times from 9:30am to 11:00am Monday through Friday.
Course description:
Launching your own company isn’t for everyone. Only the most daring, determined types need apply, but if you have what it takes, you’ll be in the same league as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, or Google guys Larry Page and Sergey Brin. If you’re ready to develop your own startup, this course could be your first step on the road to success! You’ll create a business plan, hoping to cash in on your innovation and creativity. Research your market, work up a template to put your plan into action, and let your inner entrepreneur take command.
Instructors will create their own syllabus to be approved by ACA based off the course description.
Pay rate for each 3-week course: $450
Additional one time preparation stipend of $100
