IPG is looking for an entrepreneurial and energetic Inside Sales Coordinator to help drive & support our growth strategy for our fast growing LightWELD product line. LightWELD, an innovative hand-held laser welder, is currently disrupting traditional welding markets. The LightWELD Inside Sales Coordinator is responsible for selling to and supporting our customers; and will lead the LightWELD Mobile Demonstration Program, a key activity facilitating the sales process. The role will also manage inputs from multiple departments to ensure that all demos are executed efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities

  • Own sales qualification process of inbound leads generated from marketing, tradeshows, demonstrations and events
  • Manages technical, logistical, and marketing aspects of demonstration events for current & prospective customers
  • Be the point-of-contact between the Sales Manager, Applications Engineer and the channel partners to ensure effective execution of demonstration calendar, marketing campaigns, trade shows and other lead generating activities
  • Work with customers and channel partners to ensure IPG is supporting them effectively; propose and execute improvements where necessary
  • Work with Marketing on sales development campaigns to generate leads & opportunities with prospective customers
  • Collaborate with Sales team members to ensure that appointments are scheduled efficiently and effectively; maintain accurate records of all scheduled appointments and follow up with customers as necessary
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Coordinate with other departments within the company to ensure that customer needs are met
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to customers

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Dynamics 365, or other CRM
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field (preferred)
  • Previous laser experience is not required, however previous engineering experience is preferred
