Job description
Position: - Inpatient Psychiatrist (on site, tele-psych is not an option), to work with dually diagnosed adult patients, mental health, in a residential section, not an outpatient clinic.
6 month Contract role with option to extend.
Hours and Days: - 40 hours per week.
Schedule would be either Monday to Friday, 8 hour days or Tuesday to Friday or Monday to Thursday, 10 hour days. - No on-calls. -
Minimum of 6 months with option to extend - (Start date is determined by completion of clearance requirements)
Location: - San Antonio, TX
Requirements:
- Doctorate Degree
- Licensed Physician in the State of Texas
- Experience providing direct patient care, psychiatric assessments and treatment, and face to face evaluations.
- Must have working knowledge of Texas mental health code. and be able to testify in court as needed.
- Active Texas Medical License from Texas Medical Board with no sanctions
- Active US Dept of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certification
- American Heart Association (CPR) certified
