Position Summary
Provide IT support for personnel on computer software, systems, and hardware issues. Monitor and troubleshoot LAN, PC, software, printer, and phone issues. Set-up and maintain PCs for associates and provide training as needed. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Essential Job Functions
- Setup, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN, PC, software, and hardware such as printers, TC57s, WT6300s, conference room hardware, fuel systems and other production hardware
- Upgrade and install hardware/software
- Coordinate installation, maintenance and enhancement of personal computers, thin-clients, servers, and Local Area Network/Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN)
- Provide support for servers, networks, industrial thin client devices
- Provide training to new users and when introducing new systems and software applications
- Maintain network documentation and hardware/software inventory
- Grant user access in accord with policy
- Monitoring\testing of wan connections
- Maintain documentation, troubleshoot phone issues, and arrange for repairs for phone and other communication systems
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Minimum Position Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Detail oriented
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Ability to train others
- Strong analytical skills and ability to learn and apply new technology
- Ability to adjust to changing deadlines
- Strong computer skills including familiarity with networking, switches, routers, active directory, phones, and VOIP systems
Desired Previous Experience/Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- Microsoft Certification IT Professional (MCITP), Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA)
