Do you love the elderly? Salus Homecare is urgently hiring the best in-home caregivers for our elderly clients who live in the westside of Los Angeles. You must have at least 1 year of caregiving experience to be considered for this position.

LOCATION: Westside Los Angeles

HOURLY RATE: Starting $18+ per hour

CAREGIVER SHIFTS: 8-hour shifts / All days of the week

URGENCY OF NEED: Immediate virtual interviews / Get hired within 72 hours

ABOUT THE JOB:

As an In Home Caregiver, you play a crucial role in the well-being and happiness of your elderly clients. You strive to preserve dignity and enhance the quality of life of your clients who face a decrease in independence. You look to be ever present and comforting during their time of need and you remain compassionate and friendly during stressful times. The essential duties and responsibilities of a part time caregiver include:

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Run errands for clients and/or transport them to appointments
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Prepare meals and snacks according to dietary requirements
• Perform light cleaning tasks such as laundry, dusting, and vacuuming

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 1 year of caregiving or companion experience
• Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
• Fully immunized against COVID-19 (unless exempt)
• TB test or chest x-ray with no abnormalities in the past 24 months
• Valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle
• CNA or HHA certification is desired but not required
• High school diploma preferred
