The Loss Prevention Manager manages the Impound department and the protection of Company assets.

Plans, establishes, and directs the activities of the Impound Department for Car and Truck brands.

The impact you’ll make:

The Loss Prevention Manager institutes remedial programs to prevent loss and reduce of the Company's exposure to Impounds, claims, identifies areas of loss and potential loss of revenue or physical assets, develops, recommends, and implements corporate Impound and Loss Prevention procedures for the Division.

What you will do:

Plans, establishes, and directs the activities of the Impound Department for Car and Truck brands.

Coordination of vehicle recovery from Impound lots including negotiation of costs, compilation of documents required by municipality for vehicle retrieval and communication with security/field or third-party vendor.

Fulfilling database with imperative information related to vehicle recovery and cost recovery via charging customer as provided by contractual agreements. Documenting database related to all issues related to impounds, police and legal holds.

Provide weekly and monthly metric reports by area for field compliance with process. These metrics will include cost recovery, timing recovery and compliance issues.

Manages department workflow and responsible for coverage during employee vacations and leave of absences.

Interviews, develops, and evaluates the performance of the team. Includes monitoring of attendance and tardiness.

Communicates case details, and drafts supporting documentation at the request of the Legal Department regarding Impounded vehicle cases. Explains Impound Department policies and procedures to various other departments/field personnel with the organization.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years Supervisory experience.
  • Ability to navigate through Tableau workbooks.

Skills and abilities you should have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong PC and Email skills.
  • Essentials Strong Follow Up skills.
  • Project Management experience.
