Full Time Service Manager: Esser Air Conditioning is looking for a candidate that is energetic, team oriented and willing to take our service department to the next level. This is an exciting position that requires creativity, mentoring, understanding data and its relation to results, critical analysis and above average communication skills with employees and customers.
Responsibilites and expectations
- include overseeing a team of 4-5 service technicians and 2 maintenance technicians
- frequent ride alongs with field staff
- Manages vehicles, tools, parts, and training
- Pricing structure
- Schedule technicians and apprentices to ensure sufficient staffing to meet the needs of our clients and the business
- Hold each team member accountable to the quality and standards set forth by Esser
- Review daily completed jobs and monitor performance, accuracy and workmanship of each service technician
- Review all on-site quality control and customer satisfaction reports
- Notify technicians of any workmanship issues and schedule the technician to return to perform repair whenever possible
- Interact with clients to resolve issues/concerns in a timely manner
- Department financial analysis, projections and strategic planning
- Understanding the local market and using that understanding to grow the department
- frequent callaboration and planning with other managers
- Department data analysis
- Process driven management through service titan
REASONING ABILITY:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Five years’ experience in HVAC, Service and/or Logistics in a coordinating or management role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
