HVAC Maintenance Mechanic
Position Summary:
The HVAC Maintenance Mechanic performs skilled mechanical maintenance duties in the inspection, repair, installation and alteration of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and related equipment and facilities; perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of equipment.

HVAC Maintenance Mechanic
Position Summary:
The HVAC Maintenance Mechanic performs skilled mechanical maintenance duties in the inspection, repair, installation and alteration of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and related equipment and facilities; perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of equipment.
Essential Functions:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in all facets of HVAC including:
- Thorough knowledge of centralized chilled water systems and related equipment for 1800-ton chillers.
- Maintenance of air handlers with pneumatic and digital controls including secondary pumps, damper motors, blower motors, and belt replacements.
- AHU preheat/reheating of coils.
- High pressure steam plant operations, including water treatment knowledge.
- Ability to work independently troubleshooting and responding to service work orders.
- Chill Beam system knowledge a plus.
- Third grade engineer license
- Ability to gain and maintain access to work site.
- Ability to pass government background check and obtain government Common Access Card (CAC) and/or Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) card.
Shifts:
- M-F: 7:30am – 4:00pm
- Flexible scheduling to include occasional overtime and weekend work for emergencies.
Hourly Rate:
- $26.58/hr. (+$4.22 fringe)
